About Bitmask
Named after the low-level software operation that extracts value from data.
Bitmask was founded in Glasgow Scotland in 2018, initially offering freelance embedded software development.
Since then, we have grown to cover the many aspects of electronics product development. We specialise in electronics design, connected software systems, and creating custom Internet-of-Things (IoT) solutions.
Designing and building connected products is a complex task involving many engineering disciplines. Our team of engineers, each of whom experts in their respective domain, cover the entire product stack: Product design, Electronics design, Firmware development, Mechanical & Industrial design, Mobile & PC applications, Software systems, and Certification.
Alongside client work we also like to develop our own products, built to the same standard as our clients expect. Shipping our own hardware keeps our engineering principles grounded in practice.
